The skills you need
Essential: - An interest in and enthusiasm for swifts. - Good face to face and telephone communication skills - able to enthuse planners and property managers to plan positively for urban nature - Ability to travel to various locations in your local area to undertake swift surveys - Access to the internet - Basic IT skills (eg competent in Word and Excel) - Happy working independently
Desirable: - Experience of carrying out bird or other wildlife surveys - Experience of the planning and/or construction industry
**Your time ** Minimum commitment: Approx 4 days a month (flexible) Duration: Ongoing Period: All year for planning advice and April - August
